Baseball Has Four Named to All-Conference Team

Wichita, KS-Three Busters were named to the 2015 Jayhawk West Team- 1st Team All Conference. First Team Players are:

Frank Alvarez-Catcher

Alvarez played in 53 games this season and ended the year with a .371 batting average. Alvarez had 11 home runs, knocked in 38 RBI's and the one hole batter scored 62 runs.

The Jayhawk West MVP will continue his education and playing career at Arkansas State University. ASU is located in Jonesboro Arkansas.

 

Ted Ramirez-2nd Base

Freshman Ted Ramirez had an outstanding first season at Garden City Community College. Ramirez, two hole batter ended the season with a .343 batting average and knocked in 4 home runs. Ramirez scored 54 runs and added 48 RBI's.

Mason Brown-Utility

Sophmore Mason Brown came off the bench at mid-season playing in 37 games. Brown had a .318 batting average, tallied 27 runs and contributed 31 RBI's. Brown had 2 home runs on the year.

2nd Team Jayhawk West Brooks Benson-Outfield

Sophomore Brook Benson had a .306 batting average and played in 52 games. Benson scored 33 runs and tabbed 35 RBI's. Benson had 6 home runs.

The Busters finished the season at 29-27 overall and 15-13 in the KJCCC West.
