Caleb Young is entering his 2nd year with the Broncbuster football program and will coach the safeties. Coach Young’s versatility allowed him to coach wide recivers last fall and has since moved to secondary.
Coach Young comes to Garden City from MacMurray College in Jacksonville, IL, where he was the defensive backs coach for three seasons. At MacMurray, he also served as the strength and conditioning coordinator and an academic assistance coordinator.
Before MacMurray, Young played both corner and free safety at Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, IA. He led the defense in interceptions as both a junior and a senior. While at Briar Cliff, Young also ran track where he was a record setter and national qualifier. While coaching at MacMurray, Young played professional football with the Bloomington Edge of Bloomington, Illinois indoors.
