Busters Run Into Tough Luck

Garden City, KS-Brady Trenkle's Busters dropped a home match against Colby 67-65 Saturday falling to 0-4 in the KJCCC West. Garden City trailed by two at the half after trailing by as much as twelve.

The Busters did lead in the second half by 6 at the 13:27 mark but Colby battled back to win by two.

Garden City was led by Tyrell Springer with 12 points followed by Myrek Fowlkes with 11. Antorian Moore scored 10 points and Richie Spiller was two shy of double figures with 8 points.

Colby's Kyhree Wooten led all scorers with 20 points and Bruce Watkins added 19 to lead the Trojans. Colby improves 2-2 in Jayhawk West play and is 11-7 overall

Garden City is 0-4 in Jayhawk West play and is 11-7 overall.  The Busters travel to Pratt for a 7:30 PM tip off Wednesday night. Pratt is 2-1 in Jayhawk West suffering their first loss to Dodge City tonight 86-81. The Beavers are 11-6 overall. The Beavers are the defending Region VI Champions.
