Busters Fall to Barton County

Garden City, KS-Barton County (20-5, 8-3) got the best of Garden City defeating them 73-68 at the DPAC Saturday Night. Garden City rallied back to lead at halftime 32-30 but could not close a four point gap late in the second half.

Field Goal shooting plauged the Busters shooting 37% from the field as Barton County shot 45%. The Busters did shoot 78% from the free throw line compared to Barton County's 44%.

Leading the way for Barton County was Khalil Gracey with a game high 21 points and five rebounds. Ahmed Walker scored 16 and grabbed a game high 12 rebounds.

The Busters were led by Jeremee Bennett with 15 points and Tyrell Springer added 13.  Richie Spiller scored 11 points and snagged five boards. Jonathan Bell led the Busters in rebounding with seven snags.

Garden City (14-11, 3-8) takes on Colby (12-12, 3-7 Monday night at 8:00 PM at Colby. Colby won the first meeting 67-65.
