Buster Golfers Receive All-Conference Honors

Upon the conclusion of play Tuesday at Sand Creek Station Golf Course in Newton, KS, All-Conference Honors were announced. Two Buster golfers were able to earn Conference honors after their solid play throughout the conference season.

Sophomore, Nathan Forrest (Bottom picture 2nd from left) was named Honorable Mention All-Conference.  Forrest's best finish during Jayhawk Conference play came at Sand Creek Station after finished tied for 8th. During his T-8th finish, Forrest fired a 1 under par 71 to propel the Busters into 2nd place just one shot back of Kansas City, KS Community College.

Freshman, Skyler Tebo, (Right picture far right) was named First Team All-Conference. Tebo's accomplishments included a tie for 4th at Falcon Lakes Golf Course, tie for 2nd at Alvamar Golf Course, and a 3rd place finish at Sand Creek Station. Tebo finished in 2nd in the Jayhawk season long points race for Conference Player of the Year behind Dodge City's Zach Kirby.

"This is quite an accomplishment for both players," said Buster golf head coach Matt Zedrick. "It was great to see both players receive accolades that show much hard work they've put in this season. The most exciting part is this is only the beginning of bigger things for both guys."
