The Broncbusters finished day one of the CSU-Pueblo Invite in seventh place out of eight teams. But a minor oversight hit them even harder at the end of the day.
Garden City golfer Bryce Wharton was disqualified for not signing his card. He finished 17-over par.
As for the rest of the team-Jordan Bishop paced the Broncbusters by shooting a 2-over par; he's tied for 13th. Dominic Pollock is 2-over par; he's tied for 13th. Dominic Pollock was right behind him with a 3-over par-good for the 19th best score. Nathan Roy came in 34th with a 7-over par; Luke Russell's 81 was good for 40th while Scott Campbell shot a 12-over par; he's in 47th place.
Garden City's team score was a 309-17 shots back of leader CSU-Pueblo. Dodge City is sitting in second place with a 294.
