Liburd and Henry Performing at High Level

Pittsburg, KS-Jessica Coleman punched her ticket to the NJCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships in the 600 meter run. Coleman clocked a 1:30.37 and after Friday's meet was sitting 12th nationally. 

On the Men's side James Liburd and Rodney Henry continue to perform at a high level. Liburd qualified for Nationals in the 400MR. Liburd ran a 48.61 and will represent Garden City individually in the triple Jump and the 400MR. Liburd is ranked 5th nationally in the 400MR.

Rodney Henry qualified for Nationals in a second event as he clocked a 1:55.50 in the 800MR. Henry qualified two weeks ago at Nebraska in the 1000MR. Henry is ranked 9th in the 800MR.

The Men's 4x4 also qualified for Nationals as they are ranked 9th nationally. The Buster 4x4 is made up of LaChristopher Smith, Tyrone Leach, Mike Stone and James Liburd.
