The Broncbusters didn't provide Rachel Roe with much support, but she didn't need much. Roe pitched seven strong innings to carry Broncbuster to a 2-1 win over Butler Community College in seven innings on Saturday.

Jayde Wilson helped Broncbuster pull ahead for the duration in the sixth inning. Erin Janiewiewicz walked to get on base in the sixth. She then went from second to third on a groundout by Karissa Cardenas.

Kaelah McMullin was charged with the loss. She lasted just six innings, walked three, struck out three, and allowed two runs.

Butler Community College managed to score one run in the first inning on a groundout by Morgan Heckart.

Broncbuster scored one run of its own in the first. Broncbuster scored on an RBI single by Mattie Miller.

Barb Nigon pitched seven innings, but Broncbuster still fell to Butler Community College 3-1 in seven innings on Saturday at Garden City, KS.

Jenny Hittinger got the win for Butler Community College. She allowed one run over seven innings. Hittinger struck out two, walked none and gave up four hits.

Nigon ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss.

The lead stayed with Butler Community College after the first, when it scored one run on a sacrifice fly by Gracie Bogle.

Butler Community College got one-run rallies in the sixth inning and the seventh. In the sixth, Butler Community College scored on a sacrifice fly by Bogle, plating Megan Wurtz.

Broncbuster managed to score one run in the sixth inning on an RBI single by Mattie Miller.
