Busters Fall to 7-4 to 11-0 Birds

Garden City, KS-Garden City gave the 11-0 T-birds all they could handle as they fell 52-48 falling to 7-4 on the year. Both teams struggled all night to put the ball in the basket large in part by stingy defense.

Garden City shot 27% from the field while the Birds shot 33%. In a low scoring affair Angelica Paulo of New Mexico Junior College led all scorers with 20 points. The Busters were led by Loysha Morris with 18 points followed by Justina James with 13 points.

The Busters return to action tomorrow against Trinidad State (3-9). Trinidad lost to Seward County (8-0), 95-53. Trinidad State was led by Claire Loannidis with 17 points. Tipoff is slated for 5:30 PM.
