Busters Split Thanksgiving-Pepsi Classic With Win Over Trinidad State

Garden City, KS-Nick Salazar's Busters improved to 8-4 on the season with a 64-47 win over Trinidad State. Garden City walks away with a split in the Thanksgiving-Pepsi Classic suffering a setback Friday night to New Mexico Junior who is ranked in the top twenty five.

Garden City was led by Loysha Morris with 19 points and four rebounds.  Tori Spann added 12 points and five rebounds and Justina James contributed 11 points and pulled down twelve rebounds. James in two games snagged a total of 28 rebounds.

Kori Eurich and Claire Loannidis contributed 14 points apiece.  Garden City resumes play Tuesday Night at the Dennis Perryman Complex against Adams State JV. Tipoff is set for 5:30 PM. The Busters will finish pre-conference play Saturday at Otero; that game is slated for 2:00 PM Mountain Time.
