Garden City, KS-Nick Salazar's Lady Busters are coming off their second loss of the season in league play with Monday's loss to Hutchinson 77-70. The Lady Busters will turnaround Wednesday night when they host Barton County Community College hoping to pick up their second win of the year against the Cougars.

The Busters defeated Barton County in January 64-58. Barton County is 4-9 in league and 12-12 overall and is coming off an impressive 70-66 win over Coffeyville Monday night. Prior to Hutchinson's loss Garden City suffered an early season 70-57 loss to the Ravens. The Ravens are currently 10-3 and 18-6 overall and are sitting fourth in the league.

Barton County placed three players in double figures against Coffeyville. Dominique Baker tallied 15 points, Alexus Bryson scored 13 and Megan Jirak tallied 10. Leading scorer Kilee Harris was held to 9pts. Harris is averaging 12.1ppg.

The Busters are led by Shala Dobbins. Dobbins is the KJCCC leading scorer averaging 21.3 points per game. Garden City has scoring depth in Jaymie Bernbeck (8.4ppg), Jenna Clasen (7.9ppg), Kavita Akula (8.7ppg), DaRae Lewis (9.0ppg).

The Busters are getting quality play out of Dominigue Maxwell and Donasja Scott. They are combining for 13points per game.

The Busters are sitting second in the KJCCC at 10-2 and 17-7 overall. Tipoff is scheduled for 5:30pm Wednesday.
