Busters Improve in Game Two Despite Setback

Roswell, NM-Head Coach Jacquelynne Matula is less than one week at the helm of Garden City Volleyball. After Harvey Sanders' resignation the squad had little time to adjust to Coach Matula as she took over the squad 9 days ago.

The Busters dropped their first match 3-0 to New Mexico Military Institute 19-25, 13-25 and 13-25. The Buster returned in game two fighting hard the first two sets against South Mountain Community College 23-25, 23-25 and 17-25.

Coach Matula stated, "We had a rough start in game one and struggled mentally. However I was pleased with the effort in game two and am happy with the improvement".

The Broncbusters return to action tomorrow. They will play Yavapai Community College at 10:00 AM and close the day with Pima Community College at 3:00 PM.
