During his senior season, he recorded 62 tackles (18 FL), 10 sacks and one forced fumble...He led La Cueva to an 11-2 record and a state-runner up finish, losing to top-seeded Manzano 14-7 in the state championship game...It was a five-win improvement from his junior year and a major turnaround from his sophomore season, where his team was 3-7...Also ran track and played lacrosse...football program won state championship the year after he graduated (first since 2009)...was named team MVP as a senior...Also played on the offensive line...It was his forced fumble late in the state semifinals that sealed La Cueva’s trip to the state championship game in 2017...Named to the South All-Star team...Named defensive lineman of the year in 2017...Homecoming King
