Corsicana, TX – In a top-10 showdown, the No. 6 Garden City Broncbusters delivered a statement road win, knocking off No. 4 Navarro College 42–27.
Early Struggles and Defensive Spark
Navarro jumped out 10–0 in the first quarter, but Garden City's defense steadied things—Greg Johnson snagged an interception to halt an early drive.
Second-Quarter Surge
Quarterback Jaydyn Sisk flipped the momentum, hitting Cenard Bennett for a 48-yard score, then adding rushing TDs from 16 and 19 yards as GCCC rolled to a 21–10 halftime lead. Sacks by Rashad Jones and Marvin Hall punctuated the swing.
Special Teams Flip the Game
To open the third, Donovan Moore raced a kickoff back 100 yards for a touchdown. After a Navarro field goal, Tanner Helton ripped a 42-yard run to set up John Randle Jr. for a 22-yard TD and a 35–13 cushion.
