Round 1 Complete: GCCC Men's Golfers Compete at NJCAA National Preview.

The team finishes the day tied for 5th at +6 and currently sit 13 shots back of the leaders who are at -7. 

Ilan Dufrenoy had a stellar day after a slow start being +1 through his first 7 holes. Ilan made a 15ft eagle putt on hole 16(his 8th hole) to flip his scorecard into red figures and he was off to the races playing his last 11 holes at -5 to finish the day -4(68).

Miguel Silveira also had a solid round today making pars on his first 9 holes. He had a great par save after short siding himself on hole 17(par 3) and nearly chipped in but tapped in for a par which kept his momentum going. After a bogey on hole 1(his 10th hole) he played his remaining 8 holes at -2 to finish the day -1(71).

Carson French didn't have his best stuff to start the round as he played his first 9 holes at +4 before steadying the ship and playing his last 9 holes at +1 to finish the day +5(77).

Theis Ottosen started off solid making good pars on his first 2 holes which included a 12ft putt on hole 8(his first hole) and a 6ft putt on 9. He hit a great drive down the difficult 10th hole before hitting 2 balls out of bounds and recording a 9 on that hole. He played the remaining 15 holes at +2 to finish the day +6(78).

Miles Dickinson played his first 9 holes at level par which included 2 birdies and 2 bogeys. He started off his back 9 solid with 2 pars before playing his remaining 7 holes at +10 to finish the day at +10(82).
