Garden City Men and Women both finish 5th in Lubbock, Texas
The Garden City Cross Country Men and Women's cross country traveled to Lubbock, Texas to compete at the Texas Tech Open XC Meet hosted by Texas Tech University! This meet had schools in NCAA D1, D2, NAIA and NJCAA.
The women finished 5th out of 14 schools. Season's first and last 6,000m race.

Natalie Guevara: 26:02.9 placing 55th (collegiate debut)
Jaquelyne Gonzalez: 26:14.7 placing 59th (collegiate debut)
Angelica Rangel: 28:33.5 placing 87th (collegiate debut)
The men finished 5th out of 15 schools- beating Odessa college who is currently ranked 5th in the NJCAA. Season's first 8,000m race.

The broncbusters will travel to Lincoln Nebraska on September 20th to compete at the Woody/Greeno Invitational hosted by University of Nebraska-Lincoln and Nebraska Weslayan University.
