Broncbusters Compete at the 2025 KJCCC/Region VI Cross Country Championships in Colby

The Garden City CC Men and Women's cross country traveled to Colby, Kansas to compete at the 2025 KJCCC Region VI Cross Country Championships!  

The women finished 4^th out of 8 schools in the Region and 2^nd out of the 5 schools in the Jayhawk West conference. Garden City CC was 3 points from 3^rd place Cloud County CC, 15 points from 2^nd place Butler CC and 25 points from the winning team Hutchinson CC. 

Runners consist of: 

Meryeme Mai: 17:58, placed 3^rd in the region,  2^nd in the conference

Reid Harvey-McKean: 18:40 season best, placed 6^th in the region, 5^th in the conference

Umahan Sahin: 20:16, placed 20^th in the region, 13^th in the conference 

Maritza Romero: 20:35, placed 22^nd in the region, 15^th in the conference 

Natalie Guevara: 20:59 personal best, placed 28^th in the region, 18^th in the conference

Jaquelyne Gonzalez: 21:44, placed 36^th in the region, 23^rd in the conference

Angelica Rangel: 22:29, placed 27^th in the region, 

Madyson Schreibvogel: 24:09 placed 54^th in the region, 33^rd in the conference

Ally Stidham: 27:04 personal best, placed 60^th in the region, 35^th in the conference

The men finished 4^th out of 12 teams in the Region and 3^rd in the Jayhawk West conference. Garden City was 1 point from 3^rd place finish Colby CC, 53 points from 2^nd place Butler CC and 58 points from winning team, Hutchinson CC.

Daniel Aboagye: 26:37, placed 26^th in the region, 19^th in the conference

Brayan Herrera-Ramirez: 26:53, placed 29^th in the region, 21^st in the conference

Breckin McClure: 28:52 personal best, placed 55^th in the region, 32^nd in the conference 

Damion Crow: 28:59, placed 58^th in the region, 35^th in the conference

Carson Schmidt: 29:40 season best, placed 62^nd in the region, 38^th in the conference

William Wilson: 30:03 personal best, placed 66^th in the region, 42^nd in the conference

The Broncbusters will travel to Fort Dodge, Iowa to compete at the NJCAA Cross Country/ Half Marathon Nationals November 8^th and November 11^th.
