The Rodeo Team competed in the Colby Community College Rodeo this past weekend. The Men's Team finished 4th in the Team Standings, and the Women's wasn't able to qualify anyone to the Short Go.

Rhett Robbins won 4th in the Long Go of Bareback Riding, 5th in the Short Go, and finished 5th in the Average.
Jaytyn Hash split 7th and 8th place in the Long Go of Tie Down roping, Won 2nd in the Short Go, and finished 2nd in the Average.
Brady Irvine won 7th in the Long Go of Saddle Bronc Riding, was 6th place in the Short Go, and finished 6th in the Average.
Kacen Nowicki won 5th the Long Go of Saddle Bronc Riding, but unfortunately bucked off in the Short Go, and finished 10 place in the Average.
Everett Blackburn was 10th in the Long Go of Saddle Bronc Riding, 6th in the Short Go, and finished 9th in the Average.
Maxx Richardson was 9th in the Long Go of Steer Wrestling, 6th in the Short Go, and finished in 5th place in the Average.
Riggs Rotenberger was 11th in the Long Go of Steer Wrestling, unfortunately missed his Short Go steer, and finished 12th in the Average.
Nicholas Lovins Won the Long Go of Team Roping with his partner Brandt O'Connor from SWOSU, they were unfortunately unable to connect in the Short Go and took a No Time, but most all of the Team Ropers struggled this weekend so they still finished 3rd in the Average.
The GCCC Men's Team had 8 contestants in the Short Go, and that might possibly be a record for Garden City.
The Rodeo teams next action will be in Durant, Oklahoma at the SEOSU Stampede Rodeo September 25-27.
