Broncbusters Complete Seward Classic Sweep, Improve to 5–0

Liberal, KS—The Garden City Community College women's basketball team capped off a dominant weekend in Liberal with another statement win, defeating Otero College 77–70 on Sunday afternoon to close out the Seward County Classicand remain unbeaten at 5–0.
Four Broncbusters scored in double figures in a balanced offensive effort. Sokhna Ndiaye once again led the way with 16 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists, while Deija Roberson delivered a powerful inside performance with 16 points on 5-of-7 shooting and 6-of-7 from the line.
London Turner flirted with a triple-double, tallying 9 points, 9 rebounds, and 9 steals, while Elektra Mjoll came off the bench to spark the offense with 12 points, including three clutch three-pointers. Caryle Fortas added 8 points and 4 assists, helping the Busters control tempo throughout.
Garden City led 44–33 at halftime and stayed composed through Otero's fourth-quarter rally, using aggressive defense and transition play to seal the win. The Broncbusters forced 23 turnovers and finished with 18 steals, showcasing their trademark defensive intensity.
With the victory, Garden City improves to 5–0 overall, continuing their best start in recent program history as they head into the next stretch of non-conference play.
