The Broncbuster women's soccer team snapped a three-match losing streak with a 3-0 victory over Hesston at Broncbuster Stadium Tuesday afternoon.
Ariana Sanchez got the scoring going in the 13th minute with a goal off a free kick to make it 1-0. Then, in the closing stages of the first half, Garden City native Jessica Adame scored off of a rebound to give the Broncbusters a two-goal edge at the break.
In the second half, Garden City (2-5, 2-3) kept coming. Maria Gasca and Goretti Mendez scored a pair of goals before Isabel Medina put the match on ice when she found the back of the net in the 67th minute.
Kaylee Keller recorded three saves.
With the win, the Broncbusters improved to 2-2 at home.
