Broncbusters Open Season with 2–0 Road Win in Texas

Northlake, TX - The Garden City Broncbusters opened their 2025 season on the road in Texas with a convincing 2–0 win over North Lake.

First Half

Garden City dictated play from the opening whistle, firing off eight first-half shots while holding North Lake without an attempt. Despite the offensive pressure, the score remained even at the break.

Second Half

The Busters broke through in the 72nd minute when Maddison Foster (#15) slotted home the season's first goal, set up by a sharp assist from Gabriella Lima (#10).

Lima wasn't done. In the 87th minute, she delivered her second assist of the match, finding Smilla Akesson (#21) for the insurance goal that sealed the 2–0 victory.
