Bio
Corey Bryant enters his seventh season as the head women’s soccer coach at Garden City Community College, continuing to build on a tenure that has already cemented his place in program history. Bryant is the all-time wins leader in Garden City women’s soccer history and brings more than 15 years of collegiate coaching experience to the sidelines.
Prior to leading the Broncbusters, Bryant served as the head girls coach at Nickerson High School and spent five successful seasons as an assistant under Sammy Lane at Hutchinson Community College. During his time with the Blue Dragons, the program compiled an impressive 71-16-3 overall record, captured two Jayhawk Conference titles (2014, 2016), and produced 45 all-conference selections, 29 all-region honorees, and three All-Americans.
Bryant also gained valuable experience at the professional level, serving two seasons as an assistant coach with FC Wichita of the Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL).
From 2011-2014, Bryant was the Associate Women’s Head Coach at Coffeyville Community College, where the Red Ravens climbed as high as No. 16 in the national polls during the 2013 season. Before Coffeyville, he spent two seasons as a women’s assistant coach at Virginia Commonwealth University, further strengthening his collegiate coaching foundation.
A graduate of Lebanon High School in Lebanon, Missouri, Bryant went on to earn a scholarship to Missouri Southern State University, where he continued his playing career at the collegiate level. He later spent one season playing semi-professionally for Richmond United FC, a member of the Premier Arena Soccer League.
Bryant’s extensive coaching background, commitment to player development, and proven record of success continue to drive the growth and competitiveness of the Garden City women’s soccer program.
