Broncbusters Sweep Cloud County on the Road

Concordia, KS – Garden City Community College continued its strong conference play with a convincing straight-set victory over Cloud County Community College, winning 25-17, 25-17, 25-21. The win moves the Broncbusters to 7-9 overall and 4-3 in conference action.

The Broncbusters' offense was dominant from the opening serve, posting an impressive .321 team hitting percentagewhile out-digging and out-blocking the Thunderbirds throughout. Andrea Djordjevic led the way with 14 kills on .542 hitting, adding two service aces and 16 total points.

Beatriz Da Cruz da Silva followed closely with 11 kills, hitting .333 and collecting 8 digs, while Katarina Miscevicmade her presence felt in the middle, tallying 6 kills, 3 block assists, and 7 points. Setter Vitoria Reis directed the offense efficiently with 22 assists and 8 digs, while Lexi Arwine chipped in 10 assists and a service ace.

Defensively, Daniella Nogueira anchored the back row with a team-high 16 digs, helping limit Cloud County to just a .099 attack percentage across three sets.

The Broncbusters maintained control throughout, hitting .394 in the first set, .297 in the second, and .282 in the third, never allowing the Thunderbirds to mount a sustained run.
